Enjoy five days on Sylt, accompanied and commented by Claas-Erik Johannsen – personal, informative, and culinary.
He’ll take you on this very private exploration tour and show you “his” Sylt.
Look forward to exciting and eventful days that will take you across the island and also to the island of Föhr.
Claas-Erik Johannsen will once again guide the participating guests around his island of Sylt, and this time also to the island of Föhr – personal, informative, and culinary.
We begin the evening of the arrival day with a shared “family style” dinner – accompanied by exciting wines – and conclude the event with our famous “especially hearty” breakfast. There’s plenty to do on the days in between: We’ll take an e-bike tour around the island, then take a boat to the neighboring island of Föhr and visit the MKDW “Museum of Art of the West Coast,” a very special concert at St. Severin Church, a hike to the Keitum dike, and a lecture on the island’s ornithology. On Thursday evening, we’ll conclude the event with a festive dinner with very special wines.

You arrive and check in at your leisure. Perhaps you can then relax in your room or treat yourself to a cup of tea or coffee in our fireplace lounge – with a slice of our homemade cake. Or explore the offerings of our WOLKENLÖN SPA. In any case, we await you; everything is prepared for your arrival.

Now we all come together for the first time at the chef’s table—the participants of the SYLT3 autumn tour and host Claas-Erik Johannsen as your tour guide on his island of Sylt.

Today we’ll be exploring the island . from 11:00 a.m. to approx. 3:00 p.m.
- 11:00 a.m. . We’ll meet at the Hotel Reception
- 11:15 a.m. . E-bike tour.
We’ll start from Keitum to Morsum. There we’ll visit the Church of St. Martin in Morsum. Afterwards, we’ll continue along the Nösse dike to the Rantum Basin, and from there through the meadows to the west coast.
- approx. 1:00 p.m. . we’ll have a Snack at the Strandoase Restaurant
Afterwards, we’ll return to Keitum via Tinnum.
The evening is free for you to enjoy.

Visit to the MKDW – Museum of Art of the West Coast in Alkersum
“The non-profit Museum of Art of the West Coast was founded in 2009 by the entrepreneur Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Frederik Paulsen, whose family comes from Alkersum/Föhr. Located in the heart of the village of Alkersum, it draws on the history of “Grethjen’s Inn,” the former village inn where artists from Germany and Denmark, as well as islanders, used to stop by in the 19th century. Including shuttle transfer – we drive you there, we pick you up.
The Church of St. Severin in Keitum is famous for its church concerts. These concerts have long been a tradition for the church to take place on Wednesdays. For anyone who wants to delve deeper into our world, a visit is a must. This church and the sound of its organ, brought to life by great organists, is one of the cornerstones of our Sylt culture.

- 11:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. . Hike with Claas-Erik Johannsen to the Keitum Dike / Pumping Station.
Lecture on Ornithology on Sylt

What you should remember: weatherproof clothing – jacket, pants, hat, gloves – and mud-proof shoes, plus sunglasses, sunscreen, and a backpack.
If you would like to extend your stay beyond Friday, you will, of course, receive the same preferential rates for the following days as for the previous days.
